Okay, so this was my very first time with a photographer which was nerve wracking on its own....but doing the shoot outside Westfield in Shephard's Bush made it ten times more terrifying! lol. It's easy to see on my face that I was very nervous with everyone looking at me thinking "what is she doing?"  But I did it anyway....and I am kinda proud I had the confidence to try. I may not look like a model.....but I am not trying to be anyway!

It was a nice sunny day here in London, and I wanted to feel like I was wearing the sun on me....and this Zara blouse accomplishes just that! It's hard to feel down when you are wearing such a positive colour :-D

I am in love with the denim jacket as it is not your typical denim jacket. I bought it at least a year and a half ago, but never wore it until now. The embroidery gives it a more "romantic" feel I think. And I think the sunglasses complimented the jacket.

The primark shoes are sooo comfortable, and I am so glad I snapped them up when I saw them a few weeks ago because I haven't seem them in store since. There are many alternatives out there to purchase though, and I highly recommend them-especially if you like wearing sandals but don't particularly want to expose your whole foot.

Anyway, let me know what you think :-)

The East London £1 Vintage Sale

For the first time, I decided to check out a £1 vintage sale in East London. it was a great experience, although it was quite overwhelming for me-travelling to an unknown area of London (lol) and rummaging piles of vintage bits with soooo many people!

There was so much to choose from, fur coats, jackets, jeans, dresses and handbags! And it was free entry, But you really had to take your time to sift through everything as there were also a lot of damaged pieces (rips etc.) I did manage to find a few great pieces, and to think I only paid £3 for the lot!? It's unreal, anyway here is what I chose......

All great quality in perfect condition! I have already worn the coat which is fab! and I can't wait to wear the rest :-)

I will definitely be going to the next one-and if you're in the area....go check it out!

I also met with a friend and ended up going to Nando's-which is always a bonus, anyone for some hot wings with chips?? :-p

Have you been to a vintage sale? what did you buy?

My birthday wish list!

As my birthday is in 2 days time (eek!) I thought it would be a great idea to do a wishlist post. I mentioned in an earlier post on Easter Monday (check it out Here), I was dead-set on purchasing the Valentino Rockstuds in black grain leather. I still really want them, but as I am trying to seriously save for my future-I might have to hold off getting them for now. I think I will purchase a few small bits (mostly beauty products) and save money for my upcoming holiday next week! :-D

Anyway here is a compilation of dreamy things I would love to receive for my birthday, but for now will have to keep on dreaming about. And when I do eventually buy the Rockstuds....you guys will be the first to know ;-)

The Hermes scarf is one of my favourite, so well made and the attention to detail is amazing. I like how they all have a different theme, and are truly a collectible item. I have 2 already and I use them not only around my neck-but also tied around my handbag handles. And in summer I also use them as colourful headscarfs!

Hermès

Another piece from Hermes, I own a belk kit in the blue/black combo with gold hardware. I have use it soooo much-to the point I have managed to split the leather into 3 separate straps! So it is in very bad condition. I am not sure about paying full price for it though.....I paid around £295 in 2008/9....now its around the £580 mark! Hmmm maybe I'll just look for one in a consignment store lol

Return to Tiffany™ mini double heart tag pendant in silver with enamel finish.

I love return to tiffany collection and I have two extra large bracelets, one small bracelet (both in silver) and a small pendant in yellow gold. However I do like the silver with the pink enamel heart combo on this piece...and I might just have to buy it as it's not that expensive ;-)

I am dying to get my hands on a Mon Monogram Speedy by Louis Vuitton-I absolutely love this colour combo! and I love the look of my initials on the bag, but the price is seriously putting me off. I have some concerns with the quality of the bags as all my bags have issues with cracking canvas (irrepairable!) over a long period of use.....I'm not sure I am willing to pay almost £800 on another LV. But it is tempting.....

And now for one last look at my ideal shoe.......

4 different ways to wear the yellow blazer

After my post featuring my yellow Primark blazer (Check it out Here), I thought it would be a great idea to show some other ways to wear the yellow blazer with three different styles of bottoms. I came up with four, but obviously there are an infinite amout of ways to wear your look.

My choices range from a casual, dressy casual and evening look. Stockist details can be found on my Polyvore Account. I would definitely wear each style but personally, number 4 is my favourite, that Leopard YSL is everything! but which one is yours??  Comment below X

So finally some much needed sun came out yesterday in London, and I decided to wear my blazing hot yellow jacket from Primark. Being lighweight makes it a comfortable piece to wear in the warmer months. I bought two sizes so I will be able to add extra layers to the larger one when the weather is cooler.

Normally I automatically reach for gold jewellery, but as the jacket is so warm and bright on its own-I thought the predominantly silver pieces added a cool freshness to the outfit. Plus they tied in nicely with my silver shoes.

Speaking of shoes.....

Prior to meeting a friend in Soho, I managed to wander into a few stores on Oxford Street to try some on. I managed to find the perfect shoes to match my camouflage tote in Dune, but they were too high for me :-(  And naturally I just had to try on the Rockstuds again-this time in pink ;-)

I did buy a couple of pairs yesterday, and have bought quite a few pairs of shoes recently-so I hope to do a haul post very soon!

Do you have "healthy" a shoe addiction? and what colours do you love wearing when the sun is out? X

Easter monday window shopping & OOTD

So what do you do when you're at a loose end and the sun decides to make an appearance??.....Go window shopping! (or at least I do hehe!) Saw some great shoes at Shoe Heaven in Harrods, especially the Louboutins...but the ones I love are always too high for me *sigh*

Then I happened upon the Valentino section......And now I think I'm in love lol!
You know when you say to youself "I can't afford them, but might as well try them anyway" and then before you slip on those dream shoes you hope to yourself that you end up hating the way they fit, look and feel-just so you can walk away with you bank balance thanking you??
Well, that didn't happen in this situation! They are one of the MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I have ever tried on! And they are soooo sexy yet understated......I HAVE TO HAVE THEM!

I tried on the red/nude and the black ones in the kitten heel version, but I have definitely decided on the black ones, the sparkle is AMAZING!  They do retail for a heart dropping £630.....But it is for my birthday in two weeks.....hopefully the have them when I go back! ;-)

Which one would you choose?

Suedette tassell jacket  £16.20 Rare at Topshop sale  Jeans £5.90 Primark  Jersey T shirt £4 Primark  Sunglasses £2 Primark  Bag £20 Primark  Leather Boots £55 Aldo Leopard ballet flats £6 New Look  Pack of gold rings £5.99 H&M  Red jewel bangles £50p each H&M  Belt £2 Primark  Heart pendant £2 Forever 21  Gold dogtag £250 Louis Vuitton

I bought the jacket in the January sale online, and when I received it I was so surprised at how thin it is! thinner than most of my cardigans, so I went all the way to Topshop Oxford Circus for a refund....then changed my mind. I'm glad I did because it is different to my usual jackets, and it will be good to wear when (hopefully) the weather gets warmer so I wont feel too hot.
I absolutely LOVE my boots from Aldo, they are my first footwear purchase from the store and they are so comfortable-they are soft leather and they mold nicely to your feet. The studs make it the perfect combo with my Primark bag, and the heels are so awesome!
